Private Practice & Community Outreach | Cairns + Remote Travel

Location: Based in Cairns with outreach to Arnhem Land, Cape York, The Gulf & Torres Strait Islands
Type: Permanent – Full Time
Start Date: No later than August 2025
Hours: Monday – Friday, 36–37 hours per week with flexible start and finish times
Caseload: MSK (30-minute private consults) + Community NDIS
Travel: Community outreach trips every 4–6 weeks (2–4 days at a time)
Salary: OTE up to $140,000 (Base + Bonus)

Job Details:

A well-established allied health provider based in Cairns is seeking a full-time physiotherapist for a permanent position. This unique role combines private practice MSK appointments with optional community outreach across some of Australia’s most iconic and remote regions including Arnhem Land, Cape York, The Gulf and the Torres Strait Islands.

You’ll enjoy a varied caseload, autonomy in your schedule, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in both urban and rural communities. The team offers strong admin and peer support, and generous remuneration including bonuses.


Requirements:

· Minimum 5+ years of experience
· AHPRA registration
· Ability to work independently and confidently in diverse environments
· Drivers license
· Willingness to travel for outreach every 4–6 weeks
